You'll learn specific skills in areas such as Dementia Care, Mobility Support, Person Centred Planning and Personalisation, along with units covering Medication Handling and Mental Health Awareness. You will also spend two days a week on a work placement to help you put your skills into use in a care context. You can look forward to using on-site facilities which include a domestic-home setting and a clinical ward room. This Study Programme will include English and Maths at an appropriate level, and it will support the development of skills towards employability and suitability to progress onto the next level of study.
