Develop your skills in reading and writing short stories and poems. Improve your skills in spelling, punctuation and sentence structure. Learn how to use descriptive language to express your own ideas. Throughout the course you will work towards and take the Functional Skills Level 1 units for Speaking and Listening, Reading and Writing. If appropriate, you will be able to progress onto the level 2 Creative Writing course the following year. Please note: term 1 finishes on Friday 18th December, term 2 starts on Monday 11th January and finishes on Friday 18th March, term 3 starts on Monday 11th April.
