The BTEC Level 2 Certificate is for people who are interested in careers working with children from birth to five years. You will also learn about the care and education of children aged between five and eight years. You will develop the skills and knowledge needed for a wide range of careers that involve the care and education of young children. The course involves assignments and projects which are directly linked to working with children. You will also take two examinations that will assess your knowledge and understanding of different aspects of childcare. There is no work placement requirement for this course.
