GCE A Level in Physical Education

UPDATED 20170109 12:11:57

This is a coursework module where students produce two paired media products from a series of briefs. The briefs are: print, video, audio and web based. You must show progression from a preliminary exercise e.g. filming and editing a sequence to show understanding of principles of continuity editing to a more fully realised project such as the production of an opening sequence for a new fiction film. The same approach from preliminary exercise to a more ambitious finished product also applies to print (e.g. magazine production), radio (news bulletin, breakfast show etc.) and website design (e.g. charity website, music website).
