This course provides an innovative and creative curriculum, covering core areas such as: business environment, management of resources, social enterprise, marketing and communication - all fundamental to the success of business organisations. You may leave the course at the end of year 1 with 90 credits, however successful completion of the full 2 year course is equivalent to 3 A-levels therefore attracting UCAS points to enable entry to university. The course is made up of 18 units, four core units plus 14 specialist units. Other courses may be offered alongside the diploma such as the IFS Certificate in Financial Studies which help develop the learner, widen their knowledge and ensure the learning experience is diverse and exciting. Past learners have found this extremely positive and enhance their opportunities for university entrance or job application. The course is delivered using a balance between practical and theory. We include e-learning, one-to-one support, individual learning plans, external visits, events and speakers.
