The AS Level is divided into two components: (1) Computing principles component and (2) Algorithms and problem solving Mathematical skills are embedded throughout the content of the two components and assessed in the written papers where appropriate. The A Level is divided into three components: (1) Computing principles component. (2) Algorithms and problem solving component (3) Programming project. Unit (1) and (2) at A Level will incorporate and build on the knowledge and understanding gained from AS level but extend your knowledge further with more technical and mathematical concepts
