GCE ART A Level Art

UPDATED 20161012 13:00:45

Choosing to continue your education at Sixth Form level will give you the chance to pursue your interest in subjects which interest you at a higher level. As a Sixth Form student we want you to be able to realise your academic potential, whilst developing the personal and social skills which will equip you for life beyond education. We also want to ensure you are given every support in planning your chosen route past Sixth Form education, whether it is to university or to full time employment. Both tutor groups and subject classes remain small and entirely able to focus on you as an individual and, as a result, staff are able to support you as an individual. This course encourages an adventurous and enquiring approach to art and design. You may progress onto art foundation and degrees in subjects such as Art and Design, Photography, textiles, architecture, design, print making, teaching or directly into employment in these areas.
