You will need to obtain this qualification before you can apply for your personal licence from the Licensing Authority or your Local Authority. You will learn the roles, responsibilities and functions of licensing authorities within the framework of the licensing objectives, application process for a personal licence, role and responsibilities of the personal licence holder. In addition, you will learn about the premises licence, content and purpose of operating schedules, strength of alcoholic drinks, effects of alcohol on the body, protection of children from harm and responsible sale of alcohol.
