This one day course will explain how to measure your window accurately and construct a sample roman blind that you can use as a reference for future window projects. You will gain the confidence to make a Roman blind for any window in your home. A demonstration on 'tracking up' the blind will be given.The course will be taught through a practical hands on approach, with theory sessions taking place only as needed.Eastleigh College offer a number of textiles courses, including many accredited courses. Please bring a notebook and pen to the class. Students will also need to bring: -1 metre of curtain weight furnishing fabric -1 metre of curtain lining -3 metres of roman blind tape -1 metre of Velcro (soft side) -Thread -Sewing kit including scissors, pins and needles, tailors chalk -Ruler and metal tape measure Please ensure your course is running before purchasing materials.
