Throughout this part-time course you will complete assignments aimed at developing your understanding of the sector whilst you buiild a firm foundation of the basic skills required for employment. Areas covered will include: - Care of Children - Health and Safety - Play and Practical Activities - How Humans Develop Throughout Their Lifespan - Food and Nutrition If you have not yet achieved a grade C (or above) in GCSE English and maths, you will be required to attend GCSE resit sessions (if you achieved grade D) or functional skills sessions (if you achieved grade E or below).
