The specification is split into microeconomic and macroeconomic issues. Students will aqauire competence in quantitative skils that are relevant to the subject content and become familiar with various types of statistical and other data which are commonly used by economists. This will develop an awareness of earlier events, where this helps to give recent developments a longer term perspective.
