The greatest craft skills in animation are undoubtedly drawn and stop motion animation. This course introduces you to the use of computers, hand-drawing and DSLR cameras to create stop motion animated sequences. You will also learn the principles and history of animation, how to create 2D and 3D puppets and sets, how to plan and create movement, and how to work creatively with sound, light and cameras to create sequences that will impress. Through craft skills and drawing you will have brought animals and characters to life, and even made them speak: this is a most magical form of animation, and far from dead, it is rising again! If you are not entitled to a reduced fee but are finding it difficult to pay for your course in one go, we can offer a Staged Payment Agreement to split the costs into three payments if your course(s) costs £200 or more. Please talk to a member of enrolment staff about how your payments would be structured. You are liable for all payments under this agreement, even if you stop attending your class.
