Indian head massage has been used for thousands of years to help to relieve stress, tension and to boost the immune system. It consists of massaging the upper back, shoulders, neck and scalp as well as covering facial points. This workshop is for those who wish to discover how Indian head massage is practised and how it can fit into your everyday life to help to relieve stress, insomnia as well as other ailments. You will also learn how to use essential oils safely, different methods of applying oils, basics of blending and massage techniques. You will cover how the oils work on the mind and body and how to use them to help combat stress and tension. Anyone who is taking medication, has had any injury or surgery on their head or neck in the past 3 years or has any other medical conditions, please contact the centre prior to enrolment. This workshop will run for 5 hours with ½ hour for lunch. You will need to provide your own packed lunch. Tea/coffee will be provided.
