Who is it for? Cambridge Progression awards are for anyone wanting to strengthen their knowledge of specific areas of Maths before starting a Full Functional Skills award. You will complete units in areas that you need to focus on most, so that you are ready to ‘hit the ground running’ when you start with Functional Skills or GCSE. Each unit concentrates on the skills and knowledge required for work and everyday life. You must come in before enrolling onto the course and take an Initial Assessment to make sure you will be joining the correct class for your skills and needs. What will I learn? You can fill the gaps in your Maths knowledge and progress through to Level 2 in a specific topic- Data Handling for example. Once you have achieved a module you can progress onto the next level or start another topic or when you are ready or join the next available Functional Skills Maths course. Course outcomes: Certification from OCR for each module completed, agreed individually for each learner.
