The course will begin with an introduction or refresh of the systematic approach to tasting wine. You will learn how to select wines that represent value through their knowledge of attributes of grape varieties that offer an alternative to the "classics"; new trends and innovation in the wine industry and understanding of socio-economic factors that have led to the development of newer quality wine regions. , Prior wine tasting experience is ideal but not essential.
