This course develops your technical skills and knowledge in the field of Computing Science together with learning how to apply these skills in the workplace. The course has a large practical project based element and learning is mainly assessed through the production of technical artefacts. Areas of study on the HND Computing course include: Website Development, Programming, Computer Networking, Computer Hardware, Systems Analysis, Databases, Multimedia, Management for IT, culminating in a final year Computing Project. In addition there is a Professional and Academic Skills module that explicitly focuses on significant elements required for the achievement of the Staffordshire University Graduate Attributes.
