This is a brand new qualification offered by the AQA exam board. It is suitable for study alongside other A Levels or other vocational qualifications such as Sports Science or Health and Social Care. A grade C in Science and ideally Maths and English would be minimum requirements for this course as well as an interest in continuing to study science. This is a broad-based qualification in Applied Science which may be used to give you a general vocational introduction to Science, covering aspects in Biology, Chemistry and Physics. A lot of the content will be taught using practical work to develop skills and ideas. Students will be taught about science methodology and about the careers of different scientists within different organisations.
