Name: Sociology Qualification title: AS Level Qualification type: GCE A/AS Level or equivalent Assessment Assessment for AS level Sociology is by two written exams each of 1 hour and 30 minutes and worth 50% of the overall AS exam. The exams involve a mixture of short answers and extended writing. These exams will be sat at the end of the first year and do not contribute to the final A-level.
