Level 3 Extended Diploma in Sport (Performance & Excellence)

The course for you if you are keen to learn the values associated with sport, from role models to the impact on society. The course covers a wide variety of concepts in sport to provide knowledge that is directly related to the changing needs of employers in specific areas of the sport science industry. During this course you will gain a solid grounding in how to achieve excellence in performance. You will examine the role of the professional sportsperson as well as key concepts within sports coaching; including nutrition and sports psychology. There are visits to universities, a UCAS Convention, a range of guest speakers from the sports industry and the opportunity to volunteer at a range of different sporting events across the region.
