The course is designed to encourage students to develop their interest in and enthusiasm for Chemistry. Students develop and demonstrate a deeper appreciation of the skills, knowledge and understanding of ‘how Science works’. The course allows students to develop essential knowledge and understanding of different areas of Chemistry and how they relate to each other. There are 6 modules: 1. Practical skills 2. Foundations in Chemistry 3. Periodic Table and Energy 4. Core Organic Chemistry 5. Physical Chemistry and Transition Elements 6. Organic Chemistry and Analysis.
