This qualification is designed for those candidates who have completed the City & Guilds Level 2 Diploma in Domestic Plumbing and Heating studies and wish to progress on to the next level qualification The qualification is delivered 2 days per week for 36 weeks, the City and Guilds Diploma in Domestic Plumbing and Heating Systems at Level 3 (6035) contains the following subjects: Health and Safety, Planning and Design of Plumbing Systems, Complex Cold Water Systems, Complex Hot Water Systems, Complex Central Heating Systems, Basic Gas, Complex Sanitation and Drainage Systems and Environmental Technologies,during the qualification the candidate will study the 9 units and undertake 7 online examinations plus a number of written assignments and projects, they will also undertake a practical training programme at the end of which they will complete practical assessment tasks one of which will be the planning, installation, testing and de-commissioning of a Boiler, heating system including underfloor heating, an Unvented Hot Water Cylinder plus all associated controls and pipework, all of the work throughout the qualification will be put together to produce a portfolio which will be assessed and verified by our fully trained and qualified assessors and Internal verifiers (IQA), the hours of attendance are 8am to 5pm, by the end of the qualification the candidate will have all the skills and knowledge to pursue a career in plumbing. If they successfully complete this qualification and are able to gain employment as a Plumber they can progress on to the NVQ Level 2 qualification which is undertaken completely in the workplace,
