This course explores Dynamic Landscapes, Dynamic Places, Physical Systems and Sustainability, and Human Systems and Geopolitics. It also includes a substantial independent investigation, where students can develop their own preferences within the exam board framework. Students develop geographical skills, fieldwork techniques and other transferable skills to include: non-routine problem solving, systems thinking, critical thinking, ICT literacy and adaptability. The content of the course is relevant and engaging to todays Geographers, allowing students to engage critically with real world issues and places.
