The aim of the course is to provide the learner with the following skills and knowledge:- - Prepare yourself and client for treatment - Perform a consultation and be able to identify the treatment objectives - Select and use products, tools and equipment for eye treatments - Use working methods that meet with salon and legal requirements Recognise safety considerations that must be taken into account - Perform eye treatments Recognise the correct colours to use Recognise the correct eyebrow shape - Provide suitable after care advice By the end of the course you will have learnt underpinning knowledge in the following: How to communicate in a professional manner - Identify your clients needs and performing the treatment to meet the clients satisfaction - Identify known contra-indications which prevent or restrict eye treatments - Identify the contra-actions that may result from an eye treatment - Describe the after care advice that should be provided - Describe the chemical reaction which creates the tinting process - Describe the structure and function of the skin and hair - Describe the appearance of skin diseases and disorders
