EPQ

UPDATED 20161028 12:50:13

This innovative course is designed to allow students to conduct research into an area of real interest. Students will work in a small tutorial group to learn how independent research takes place and begin to piece together a ‘final product’ that could take the form of an academic report or an artefact (a performance, a video documentary, a piece of music or creative writing). Students will learn how to use Harvard referencing, they will develop time-management skills and they will use critical-thinking skills to determine how to drive forward their research. We are fortunate to work with Leeds University, who provide access to library resources and their outstanding research staff, in order to fully equip the students with transferrable skills for their academic futures.
