Ideal if: you are looking for all-round training in professional food and beverage service. You'll need: three or more GCSEs ar grade D or above, including English or mathematics, or an equivalent qualification. Some work experience of the industry is helpful. You'll learn: how to provide food and beverage services, understand and construct menus, process payments and bookings, and prepare and serve hot drinks. Expect: to be assessed throughout your course through assignments, projects and practical examinations. You'll love: learning the skills, and art, of making the service of food and drinks look easy! You'll go onto: further studies on our Professional Food and Beverage Service City & Guilds Diploma, or an apprenticeship. This course will give you the skills required to gain employment in food and drink service. The Professional Food and Beverage Diploma is run in conjunction with the Introduction to Professional Cookery Diploma Level 1, so students who successfully complete the course will not only gain two qualifications, but a real insight into Food Preparation and Service.
