Eight units which are modular. Each unit builds on the previous unit, with two teaching practice units and a piece of action research. Assignments vary from essays, presentations and collaboration with peers (lesson study). A strong focus is placed on the practical development of the trainees and their classroom performance. Trainees need to have a teaching placement where observations will be carried out on a regular basis. This can be a paid or voluntary placement. We may also be able to assist you in finding a suitable placement, depending on your subject specialism.
