This is a level 4 one year full time course geared towards a career in the fast growing sports coaching industry. The course aims to introduce students to the theory and application of sports coaching in sporting environments. The programme will incorporate football coaching and progressions delivered by UEFA A licence football coaching staff at LMC. The course is suitable for former professional football club academy, College academy or part-time professional footballers or those with a specific desire to work in football coaching. The course is practical and is based on work related assignments. During the course you will study: * Training and Fitness for Sport and Exercise * Applied Sports Coaching * Principles of Sports Coaching * The Evolution of Sports Development * Personal and Professional Development * Physical Activity, Lifestyle and Wellbeing * The Sport and Leisure Industry * work based Experience A key feature of this course is appropriate work experience in the football industry. The course will also incorporate regular football coaching delivered by a UEFA A licence coach and his team. Performance analysis is also an integral aspect of the course. All LMC students receive tutorial support.
