You will study 8 units which will include: Analytical methods, Engineering science, Business Management for Engineers, Project design, implementation and evaluation, Electrical and Electronic principles, Electrical and Electronic measurement and testing, Applications of power electronics, Instrumentation and control principles. By the end of the course you should be able to: Understand the principles of and carry out complex calculations in scientific and mathematical subjects with confidence, Work independently on long term project & design work, Use computer hardware/software to support other skills, Have an awareness of management techniques and their relevance in an engineering environment, Apply the above in a work situation.
