Health & Social Care AS Level

This demanding course is focused upon the broad subjects of Health and Social Care, from human growth and development to exploring social issues and welfare needs. The course is varied and includes studying a wide range of clients and settings via a range of portfolio units, examinations and work placements. Health and Social Care will not train you for a specific career, but you will get a broad introduction so that you can go on to specialise at a higher level. The following THREE compulsory AS Units will be studied by all students: Human Growth + Development (Externally tested) Communication + Care Values (Portfolio evidence) Positive Care Environments (Portfolio evidence)
