This course is designed for people seeking work or needing to improve their skills in the leading publishing and graphics software packages. This course gives you training in the publishing software package Adobe Illustrator. Illustrator is a drawing and design package. Within a short time students will be able to produce sophisticated illustrations, logos and page design. The programme is highly integrated with photoshop enabling the creative manipulation of photographs, text and artwork. It is the preferred software of most graphic designers, the media and publishing industry.They are also great fun enabling you to bring your creative ideas to life. The tutors have considerable industrial as well as teaching experience to take you from basic to advanced skills. The final sessions will be workshop based allowing you to produce a portfolio of work for assessment. The courses are suitable for beginners with some computer experience or people working in industry but needing to improve their skills.The course leads to a College Certificate.
