The Level 1 programme is project-based, meaning you will receive the opportunity to learn a wide range of technical skills that build on the current abilities you already have. As a student on this programme, you will explore cover design and technical topics such as garment construction using hand-made methods and sewing machines. You will be expected to document evidence of your learning, by creating and maintaining technical files, samples, designs, technical notes, analysis and of course final garments. You will also receive work experience opportunities and listen to various visiting speakers and talks, as well as get involved with professional exhibitions and sales of work. This course comprises of a written element, focused on research and evaluation.
