The OCR Life and Living Skills course provides learners with high quality; nationally recognised qualifications. They are credit-based qualifications that provide valuable opportunities for individuals to develop skills; gain underpinning knowledge and understanding and offers opportunities for learners to progress to higher level units in the suite or to achieve units at the same level; where progression to a higher level is not possible. The qualifications have been designed for both young people and mature learners; including those with profound and multiple learning disabilities. Over 150 bite-sized units are available across a wide range of engaging skill areas. Any combination of units; at any level; can be selected to suit the particular needs and interests of the learner. This provides the opportunity to build a rich and varied personalised learning programme for the learner.
