INTRO TO ACCESS L1 EVE MATHEMATICS (FEB)

On the one year course, you will study English and Mathematics. You will aim to achieve GCSE A*-C in at least one of these subjects, and a Functional Skills qualification in the other. If necessary, you will complete the second GCSE along side your Access course in the following year. In addition, you will undertake a detailed research project in a subject of your choice, and you tutorial session will focus on the study skills you will need for Access Level 3. The English course includes development of spelling and grammar and practice in comprehension and writing for specific purposes. The Mathematics course includes numeracy and problem solving and some statistics, work with shape and space and algebra.
