YOGA FOR BEGINNERS

As a guide by the end of the course you should be able to practise yoga postures from the three major movement groups- access your personal movement range with regard to flexibility and strength within the postures- practise one breathing (pranayama) technique per term- develop a relaxation practice (yoga nidra). Some learners (improvers) should be able to practise yoga postures to improve flexibility and strength- create a home practice to maintain flexibility and strength- practice and improve their understanding of (pranayama) and the effect it has on them.
