This evening GCSE course will equip you with the knowledge required to pass the Edexcel GCSE Mathematics A Linear (Foundation) examination and gain skills in applying this knowledge. On the Foundation syllabus the maximum grade achievable is a C., This course is only open to students who have not previously gained an A-C grade in this subject at GCSE. , All students must sit an assessment and have a short interview to ensure they are at the right level to begin the course. , Not all students who apply are offered a place. However, where possible, students are advised of alternative courses within the Essential Skills department.,
