Print Making Introduction

Explore a variety of print processes and techniques. Starting with simple monoprinting techniques, printing from natural objects, making collograph plates,relief printing in the form of linocut prints, basic Drypoint techniques. Learn safe printmaking practices in the print room. Safe practice in the use of water soluble inks. THe history of printmaking will be shown alongside specific techniques to enhance the students knowledge of print. Use of different papers, inks and colours will be learned. How to register an image and editioning prints.
