The two year, full time HND in Computing and Systems Development covers the knowledge and skills required for employment in the computing and IT industry. This advanced course is ideal for those who would aspire to work as a computer specialist, or for those already working in the industry who would like to take the next step in their career and build on their understanding of computing. Modules include: Programming, Networking, Database, Website, and Digital image creation & multimedia, all which provide the relevant, practical experience that are valued by employers. This is an excellent route for those who would like to progress onto university to complete a degree or those looking to go straight into the world of work. There will be four mandatory core units studied as part of the course, including: Business Skills for e-Commerce, Computer Systems, Employability and Professional Development, Project Design and Implementation and Evaluation. In addition students will study a series of relevant optional units.
