Bookbinding: an introduction

In this one-day bookbinding programme, students will be introduced to the several non-adhesive binding techniques that can be used to make books and pamphlets. This includes simple pamphlet stitches and decorative Japanese binding stitches. The books can have applications as journals, notebooks, chapbooks for writing, sketch books, record books, photo albums, recipe books, travel diaries and more - depending on student interests.
