If you'd like a general introduction to the field of engineering and want to learn more about what roles in the industry might be like, then a BTEC First Level 2 Diploma in Engineering is the perfect place to start. You'll start with an introductory topic that explores the engineered world, and then complete an additional ten units during the course, with each covering a different topic area. Some of the units you'll study will focus on health and safety, engineering materials, and mathematics for engineering.
