A child’s early years are a time of rapid development and discovery that can shape the rest of their life. As an early years professional, you have the chance to make a positive difference to the lives of the children, families and communities with whom you work. This sector-endorsed Foundation degree has been designed to meet the needs of students wishing to enter the profession, as well as those already working in the sector who wish to enhance their skills or progress their careers. If you are working with young children and aspire to be a teacher, or want to progress your career in an early years setting, this degree will give you the necessary knowledge and skills to improve the outcomes for the children and families you work with. This degree gives you the opportunity to ‘Top-Up’ to a full BA (Hons) and progress in to teaching. Ideally this course is suited to those who are already working in a nursery or primary school setting (although you can gain work experience on a voluntary or placement basis during your course) and is designed to be studied part time alongside your work commitments. Please note that this course is run in partnership with the University of Worcester and applications need to be made to them using this link or via UCAS using this link - the UCAS code is X312 Find out what your fee includes by visiting the following web page: www.walsallcollege.ac.uk/hefees
