Drawing and Painting - Beginners

Working from still life and natural forms, you will go through a variety of approaches and techniques using simple materials. Those who are new to Art or are returning to the subject. It is important to note that Art courses are practical and require a degree of manual dexterity. If you need to bring a carer with you, or be accompanied by another person, please ask to speak with the Programme Manager before you enrol.

Entry requirements

If you are a new student and have no materials please wait for your tutor's advice on what to buy. However, all students should bring an A4 sketchbook of good quality cartridge paper, and a variety of pencils.You will need to provide your own materials and these will vary in cost according to the course requirements. We have materials available to buy at competitive prices.If you have any materials/equipment that might be appropriate please bring them with you.
