This course is part of a programme devised by City & Guilds to enable candidates who wish to progress to subject specific literacy, numeracy and ESOL teacher education programmes. The qualifications allow candidates to learn, develop and practise their personal skills in English or maths to facilitate embedding of literacy and numeracy in their subject specialisms. Candidates should already hold a level 2 qualification in the relevant specialism in order to complete the qualification satisfactorily.
