This is a dynamic design course that provides learners with a strong grounding in design theory and technique. Students will build skills in disciplines such as branding, advertising, layouts, tee shirt design, working with unsigned bands, typography, photography, digital and traditional skills as well as have the opportunity to develop a professional portfolio.The course is fast paced and professional with strong industry links and a curriculum that reflects this. This is an industry focused Higher Education Course that allows you to develop a range of extensive skills in Fashion Design. You will have the opportunity to work in a variety of fashion specialisms through a range of different learning and teaching methods. You will work creatively in purpose built studios with specialist staff. You are encouraged to work creatively within an industry realistic environment that will equip you with skills to progress into this highly competitive and exciting area.What you will study:Print, textiles, promotion and retail advances will be explored as well as learning more traditional techniques in pattern cutting and garment production.Field trips/Industry linksThe fashion academy has built strong relationships with industry partners that offer mentoring internship and fashion experience.
