This course will help to develop your skills and confidence in drawing in charcoal and conté crayon. You will use a range of techniques and work from both direct observation and from secondary sources. Reference will also be made to the work of other artists as appropriate., , By the end of the course you should be able to:, , Work from a variety of primary and secondary subject matter., Use a range of drawing techniques and formal elements - line, tone, texture, colour, etc., Produce drawings using charcoal and/or conté crayon., Work to health and safety guidelines., , There is no set 'homework', but you are welcome to practise and do further work at home., There is no qualification for this course., , This course is suitable for beginners and improvers.
