These are seasonal courses where you learn about the construction of designs using flowers foliage and accessories and discover some of the secrets of professional florists. Find out how to create a variety of flower arrangements and hand tied designs in either contemporary or traditional themes in order to enhance the designs created and the environment they are to be placed in. Through demonstration and practical work a different design will be made each week. The emphasis will be on making beautiful simple arrangements for the home. The intention is to use seasonal flowers and materials where appropriate.At the end of each session youll take home your lovely design to admire and share with friends and family.This course is suitable for anyone with an interest in or love of flowers. No previous knowledge of the subject is required. This course would suit beginners or experienced learnersAny extra cost incurred during course: You have to bring flowers and foliage each week which could cost from £10.00 - £20.00 approximately. Every effort will be made to keep the costs as low as possible and each week is different.You may also need to bring inexpensive dishes containers oasis (wet floristry foam).Equipment to be provided by student: Scissors bucket for flowers plastic sheet or newspaper to work on small knife notebook & pen.
