This course is designed to inspire you to consider a career in one of the many business disciplines, such as marketing, finance, sales, recruitment or retail. It will give you the opportunity to gain a broad knowledge and understanding of and develop skills in business as well as opening a gateway to various progression opportunities including our Academies, Level 3 Business, apprenticeships and employment. English and maths provide the skills you need to operate confidently, effectively and independently in learning, life and work. At Oldham College we are committed to developing these skills throughout your time with us. You will receive an initial assessment and, if you have not already achieved A*- C GCSE in these subjects, you will be supported in working towards this during your time with us in specialist classes at a level appropriate to you. If you have already achieved A*-C, you will continue to have these vital skills developed within your chosen course of study.
