Creative Glass For Families

This course is suitable for children aged 7 to 14 years accompanied by their parents or guardians who are looking for an opportunity to enjoy learning together. It is open to all levels. We will be exploring fused glass, cutting and assembling as well as using crushed glass to make patterns. Through one main project students will learn various techniques including using crushed glass to create patterns, cutting glass and assembling. The work will then be fired. Students will develop individual creativity in glass. There will be a demonstration of Health and Safety issues in glass through safe studio practice, with consideration towards others.
