In just two weeks you will have developed a solid grounding in using your camera in low light conditions. This very practical course, will show you how to push your DSLR to its limits, making photographs not even the eye can see. Using both natural and man-made light sources, this course allows for a playful and experimental approach to photography, as well as broadening your portfolio and your understanding of the medium. Content • Using the camera setting to extract as much light as possible from a seemingly dark scene. • Creative use of shutter speeds in low light to manipulate the scene, using blur and movement effectively • Reflecting on the varying properties and moods that different light sources bring to the pictures. • Using moving lights (eg. car headlights) to paint a picture in the photograph. • Using experimental flash techniques to make interesting effects.
