This course aims to teach functional communication in British Sign Language through tasks which resemble some of the real life experiences of people who meet and mix with Deaf people in their family, social or working lives. This course enables you to acquire a basic ability to communicate with deaf people using sign language. It also provides information about deaf people, the community and culture.On this course you will be able to learn a much wider vocabulary and range of grammatical principles to improve receptive skills and fluency sign.Curriculum Content: -IBSL2A1: Receptive Skills in British Sign Language Unit -IBSL2A2: Developing BSL Presentation Skills -IBSL2A3: Understand and take part in routine conversations in BSL -IBSL2A4: Understand and use routine BSL in everyday contexts
