Level 2 will suit you if you have one to two years' experience working in the print industry or are doing an apprenticeship. You want to increase your skills and take on more responsibility. The qualification will comprise of being observed in the workplace by an Assessor and also the completion of portfolio work. Things that are typically covered are health and safety and communication. You will also be observed helping to make-ready and keep up the supply of materials throughout a run. As your confidence and experience grows, you will move on to operating the press and managing the quality of output.
